Jim Up for your consideration is a vintage 18s Ball Hamilton "999"  21 jewel railroad grade pocket watch, circa 1908.  Movement has just been serviced & cleaned ~  Well used, watch needs some TLC & is sold as is!  No Reserve!! Gold filled yellow gold plain case. Case measures 54mm. Bow is firm...   What has happened to this dial? Close-up of this battle worn dial.  Please no emails asking if there are any hairlines.  The answer is a resounding, YES! This really must have been used, even at night. Notice the original railroader had the markers & tips of the hands painted with a luminous paint.  If you like railroad watches that have been used on the job, look no further... If only this watch could talk! The mirror back case shows heavy wear from carry & use. Brass showing on the back... Case is marked Keystone J. Boss 20 year case. Clean Hamilton 999 18s full plate movement is stem wind & lever set. Watch is keeping excellent time. Watch has just been cleaned & serviced!! Beautiful damaskeened nickel movement. Just a few close ups to show you condition of the movement. Movement has not been abused. Very nice condition! Take a good look at these photos. Marked Ball ORRS ~ 999 ~ 21 Jewels  ~  adjusted 5 positions ~  double roller ~ serial number 548774 dates this to 1908. This watch needs a loving home. Are you willing to take it in?
