VACHERON CONSTANTIN 18K SOLID GOLD H/C POCKET DIAMONDS Ca.1912 * MINT * SIGNED DIAL, CASE & MOVEMENT *GORGEOUS Start Price USD 3,490.00 Current Price USD 3,490.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, September 16, 2008 End Time Friday, October 10, 2008 Location Oregon See more about 'VACHERON CONSTANTIN 18K SOLID GOLD H/C POCKET DIAMONDS' Description vintagetraderonline Store Vacheron & Constantin 18K SOLID YELLOW GOLD HUNTING CASE WITH 23 DIAMONDS Ca. 1912   The Case The Case     Authentic Vacheron & Constantin hunting case in 18K Solid Yellow Gold.  Absolutely gorgeous and in mint condition.  The main covers have a textured satin finish.  The front cover has an exquisite repousse motif of ribbons and flower garland accented with 23 diamonds.  The same motif repeats on the back cover, where it is engraved.  The dust cover, which has a polished finish, is signed "Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve".  Case Reference Number 205547 and the 18K gold seal are engraved inside all three covers.  They all open and close properly, fitting tightly.  The back cover is also signed V&C and has the corresponding Swiss gold hallmark.     There is a time set lever at 2, where the bezel meets the rim.  To engage the hands to set the time slide the lever down and out, and then turn the crown until the desired time is reached.  Then press the lever back in.    The case measures 32 mm across and is approximately 9.5 mm thick.  The watch weights 36.1 grams / 1.27 ounces.     The Dial     Original Vacheron & Constantin white enamel dial.  In mint condition, without hairlines, chips or any other detail.  Golden hour spade and minute whip.  Black painted Arabic figures and outer minute track.  Sunken seconds subdial at 6 o'clock.  Signed Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve.       The Movement     Authentic Vacheron & Constantin movement.  Manual wind.  In excellent working condition.  Signed Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve; with Serial #338229, which dates the watch to the year 1912.          Shipping     We accept Paypal and Bank Wire Transfers.
