Parachute Compensation, Detached Lever Antique Watch Start Price USD 225.00 Current Price USD 225.00 Time Left - Bid Count 1 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, October 05, 2008 End Time Sunday, October 12, 2008 Location Bellevue, WA See more about 'Parachute Compensation, Detached Lever Antique Watch' Description This 13 jewel,  working, "ancient" timepiece is in great condition, and ticking normally as I post this listing.  The key show in the photos sets the time and winds the mainspring.  There are gold accents on the dial face.  This silver case watch weighs 3 ounces and measures 2" diameter.  I was unable to find any written history on this antique, so if someone "out there" can help me date this watch, I would be much appreciative.  The original hands appear to be gold.  Text on the movement read: "DETACHED LEVER, PARACHUTE COMPENSATION, 13 JEWELS".  The crystal has a flat area measuring 1/2" diameter round in the center.  I am not sure if this is called a bulls-eye, but it does not magnify the dial face.  The watch chain and key are included and appear to be original.
