Adjusted Movement!! The Best!!' Description Very rare, and elegant Rockford Solid Gold Filled Pocketwatch. The best feature about this watch isn't it's High Grade Seventeen Jewel Adjusted Movement. It's not the Hand Painted Porcelain dial either! It's the Solid Gold Filled Tri-Color Case!! This case is made from a combination of Yellow, Green, and Rose gold. The large green gold crest on the back sits above the a smaller rose gold engraved crest and is encircled in a wreath of rose gold leaves, and an engine turned design. The outermost portion of the case is yellow gold and has a very intricately engraved vine design. The entire case is hand engraved, just imagine the amount of time it took to make this case! Making a case like this takes in excess of 50 hours of painstaking detail oriented work! The case is in excellent condition, as is the dial which has one small hairline that most likely occurred during the firing process. The Rockford movement is hand finished with hand engraving, black enameling, solid gold jewel settings, a solid gold gears, and genuine Ruby jewels! This Seventeen Jewel movement was the top of the line at it's time, and still is the top of the line. Seventeen Jewels is the standard for a Railroad Quality watch, the most accurate of all watches! And to top that off, the movement is adjusted to keep perfect time in all positions: face up, face down, crown up, crown down, and more!!
