This piece was made between 1840 and 1860 according to the "Cheverons de Neuchâtel" stamp behind the face (certified by a Swiss watch School we visited this Spring). The 2 major problems with this unit are: 1) The intermediate governor pinion. One of its pivot is broken. 2) One of the gong has been repaired with soft solder and therefore does not have the proper timber of origin. There might be some other repairs needed to be performed but we can't say for sure. All parts are present and we didn't see any missing. Though we could repair it, the owner has asked us to sell it as is and we are carrying out his wishes. If you are the winner and wish for us to repair this repeater, let us know.
