Made circa 1880. Fine, hunting-cased, keyless, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph. Accompanied by a gold fob. Serial Number No. 2327 Manufacturer James Picard Retailer Unknown Model Number Unknown Overall Condition 85% Case Condition Hunting Case 85%, (There is a medium size dent next to the hinges see photos & a very small dent on the back cover so small I can't even photograph should polish out)Note: The back and lid close properly Features Split-Second Chronograph (Working and keeping excellent time) Case Hunting Case: (The Original Case) Solid 18kt Yellow Gold, 55mm, 5.57ozt including Movement, High Polish no engraving or patterns,. Dial White enamel Dial, Black Roman Numerals, Signed James Picard Geneva, 300 Scale & Chronograph divisions, sunk sub-second. Dial Condition 90% micoscopic hair line from center to sub-second & again a micrscopic "pit" by the 100 on the outer dial. Movement Grade The movement is in 95% condition, a bit of I would call weathering but very I eye appealing, I recommend oiling by a professional. Keeps accurate time.
