Description
Gold Victorian mourning pin/brooch c.1880 Country Collector AntiquesBeautiful gold victorian pin. It appears to be from 1870-1890 or so. It measures 1 3/4 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches wide. Oval in shape. Looks to have a mother of pearl back, the flowers and leafs are brown. I believe al of the cut work are tiny pieces of wood. Quite remarkable and beautiful. The detail is spectacular . The back is gold. I believe this may be a mourning pin/brooch. While it is not designed with hair, it is a mourning piece. Shipping is free, insurance is the buyers responsibility.
