The 3/4 plate sophisticated nickel movement features a circular disc regulator and a straight line lever escapement. It is marked with a lion trademark and it has the patent date of 1880. The movement number is 38724, it is finished with straight line damaskeening. The 19 jewel movement carries a beautiful double sunk white porcelain dial which is in Very Fine *** condition, the dial is signed "Bartens & Rice New York." The dial is centered by gold Louis XIV hands and two blue split-second sweep hands. The split-second functions are controlled from gold push buttons located on the upper rim of the case.
