Vanity cabinet is 5-1/2" x 3". From the top of the cabinet to the top part it is approximately 6-1/2. The widest part across on the top part is 4-1/4. The top part has 2 bird/eagle/phoenix? heads with two talons on the top part of the drawer. In between the heads there is a cross, anchor and heart representing faith, hope and charity. The cabinet has a removable drawer with beautiful workmanship. The design on the cabinet and drawer has  hand made wooden flowers and leaves. Museum quality, pre-civil war with provenance. The note reads: "June 27, 2003 From the Dest of Loren Treadway, CTC This pocket watch holder was made by Mr. Peter Fager (circa 1850), and was given to me by his adopted daughter, Anna Fager, who was my mothers housekeeper sometime beween 1946 & 1949. An amazing workmanship. The wood in the drawer has doves. It's an amazing condition for its age except it looks like there is a repair on one of the talons. There is two very light hair-lines. Also found in the drawer three antique watch keys. The keys are very old or rusty due to oxidation. Weight is 9.7oz on the postal scale. Watch is not included. Please refer to photos.
