Description           This Jewelry box is hand made in my basement shop here in Niagara Falls NY. I make them in my spare time so I don't have many to sell each year. They take a lot of time and effort so I can not let them go cheap, however, I do guarantee you will like it or I will refund all your money! Simply return it to me for a full refund. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask.   This lovely jewelry box is hand made in my  shop here in Niagara Falls NY.  It is constructed from solid American Black Cherry lumber. It measures 16 inches high, 13 inches wide and 9 inches deep. The door front panels are Maple Burl-very rare and beautiful.  Inside the doors are 10 brass pegs to hang neclaces. The case sides and the top and bottom are joined with mortice and tenon joinery (very strong). There are no stains applied to this cabinet - all natural color.  It is finished with clear lacquer.      There are 6 drawers inside that are constructed with locking joints. The sides and backs of the drawers are Black Cherry, the drawers operate very smoothly on White Ash  slides and runners. Each drawer is lined with Red velvet and 4 drawers have removeable dividers made from Sugar Maple and Walnut. The 2 bottom drawers are 2 1/2 inches deep and are not divided to store larger items. The top 4 drawers are 1 3/4 high and about 1 1/2 deep inside, and about 6x9 inches of storage each. The knobs are solid brass.      ABOUT THE CRAFTSMAN - CHRISTOPHER ROBINS HAS BEEN PRACTICING HIS CRAFT FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS.  HE CURRENTLY MAKES PERIOD REPRODUCTIONS FOR THE DARWIN MARTIN HOUSE, A FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT MUSEUM IN THE BUFFALO AREA.  HE ALSO CREATES VENEER SUNBURST TABLETOPS USED BY VARIOUS CRAFTSMAN THROUGHTOUT NORTH AMERICA.  HE OCCAISIONALLY ACCEPTS COMMISSION WORK TIME PERMITTING.    "About the woods"-All the lumber used in the production of these boxes is harvested in the western NY area. Some is taken from a private wood lot in Newstead NY. Much is already dead due to lightening or other natural cause. My supplier also offers to take down dead trees for local people in exchange for the lumber, saving it from the fireplace! The lumber is then air dried for several months before being fully dried in a solar kiln. The veneer is mostly domestic and not endangered species.    Shipping and insurance is $30.  You must be satisfied or return the item to me for a full refund!
