I won't swear to it, but I was told that this material was mined in the 1940's. All mining ceased in Bisbee in 1975.  Campbellite is a semi-official name for this material that contains Cuprite, Native Copper, and Calcite (sometimes with minor Malachite) that was found only at the Campbell Shaft many years ago. Once available, now almost impossible to find at a reasonable price. This stone did not photograph well, and is much nicer than the photo!  This stone is Natural, and has not been treated in Any Way Whatsoever.
