This antique Victorian vanity footed hinged box is from the 30's--40's and in GREAT condition, with beautiful shine and great old patina!  The Philigree metal I believe is GILT brass or bronze, beautiful gold/gilded color. The beveled glass is all around the box and at the top. The beveled glass is peach clear color, not amber as some photos show. This is a really rare color of the glass. An original quilted velvet with round brass dots button like on it. I didn't find any labels  on it but was told that the box could be made by Stylebuilt. Measures about 4.75" tall , 8" at the widest point by 5.75" deep Great condition despite the age. Beveled Glass is in great condition. Velvet shows minor wear.      It will make a great gift or a beautiful addition to any decor ~~ Victorian, Art Nouveau, Noveau, Nuveau, Art Deko, Deco, Romantic Cottage, Paris Apt., Shabby Chic, French Country!
