I will try to describe it as best as I can....The mount is brass I think and has a cute filigree (dogtooth) series of prongs all around...holding a nice beveled glass crystal piece that looks to have an ivory angel blowing a horn. and appears to have a butterfly wing blue and silvery gold background. Your first thought is butterfly wing because of the ridges and metallic coloration...but possibly it is foil. Someone suggested to me that the angel is intaglio (carved in) on the reverse and then filled in with enamel. At any rate she has a 3D appearance...and I really can't tell even under a loupe how this is made exactly! I have never seen another, so I have to trust your judgement and experience.  I've had it for quite awhile just because I wasn't sure what it was...but also it's just so neat looking. I think it very old though (maybe 20's or 30's). Measures an inch in diameter and has a c-clasp on the back.
