This antique vanity hinged box is from the 30's--40's and in GREAT condition, with beautiful shine!.......The footed hinged/trinket BOX!  The metal I believe is GILT brass or bronze, beautiful gold/gilded color.  Measures about 4"" tall, 6" at the widest points. It is a very unusual box with the carved piereced green incerts all around the box . THese incerts look like jade , but are glass with floral relief paterns carved. It is beautiful under the sun light when light goes through these green ijncerts. Marked "Stylebuilt" - see photos! Great condition The velvet is original showes some wear consistent with the age,  still a in very good condition. Beveled clear Glass is in great condition as well as the green incerts. Metal in great  condition, there may be one small prong holding top glass missing at the top where the hinge is - shown on photos, I believe it was born that way, but thought I'd mention it in the description any way.  It will make a great gift or a beautiful addition to any decor ~~ Victorian, Art Nouveau, Noveau, Nuveau, Art Deko, Deco, Romantic Cottage, Paris Apt., Shabby Chic, French Country!
