Overview: Offered for sale is a truly superb Art Deco era ring (circa 1920s to 1930s) crafted beautifully in platinum. A shimmering EGL certified 1.73ct diamond forms the centerpiece of this delightful antique ring. Crafted by Traub of Detroit, Michigan, the orange blossom line was a very popular design during the 1920s. Today, Traub jewelry is very desirable and highly collectible. The mount features the very lovely embossed orange blossom pattern. It will set your heart aflutter! If you are in the market for an engagement ring this is certainly the one for you. An all original Deco piece (not reproduction) that would make a wonderful addition to your fine antique jewelry collection. A diamond of this size, in addition to the Traub name, commands big money at the retail antique jewelry level. You would pay at a very minimum $15,000, more realistically in the $20,000 range. We have priced this ring exceptionally for what it represents in beauty, condition, the Traub name and diamond weight. Particulars: Weight: 3.9 grams Stones:  One 1.73ct round brilliant cut diamond (7.66 - 7.62 x 4.79 mm) is beautifully embedded into the mount. The diamond is rated G in color and SI3 in clarity. A total of 14 x .01 carat single cut diamonds are embedded into the mount (rated G-H in color and VS2-SI1 in clarity). The total diamond weight is 1.87 carats. The winning bidder will receive a copy of the original EGL certification. Size & Measurements: The ring is a size 6 1/2. UK size N. The mount measures 8mm in diameter (just over 1/4 inch) and the ring rises 5mm from the finger. Metal & Hallmark: Solid platinum.
