The Rose-Cut came into existence in the early 16th century when the early diamond cutters were unable to polish the coarse octahedral diamonds. Ultimately, they realized that only diamonds cut diamonds. Therefore, they began to utilize a wooden table covered with diamond dust to acquire any kind of polishing. Thus, the “Rose-Cut” was culminated. In fact, it was named “Rose-Cut” due to it’s analogy to the Rose-Bud.   Now to this particular earrings: Hello! Today I have a pair of stunning earrings that are beautiful in appearance and radiant in color of its precious metal of gold and platinum like silver. It begins with a hook back of gold to slide through your lobe. The surface of this is laden with a strip of 5 earth mined Rose diamonds leading down to the main attraction. The reason for me describing the next level as the main attraction is because of its fabulous façade, the surface is blanketed with numerous Rose diamonds set on the brims of silver. Within this there are 27 pristine stones traveling in a bright line. Set at the heart of this is a triangular setting of bright engraved silver which houses a 9mm clear reflective foil back diamond! On the sides of this sandwiched between the surface of silver and the bottom of gold are 30 enticing rose diamonds. The back of the earrings are laden with artistic designs of Victorian grill work of gold. The earrings in whole measure out 36.5mm which is well enough to attract attention, and I am pretty sure you don’t want too much attention…right? J There are in total 64 Rose diamonds in just one earring so do the math and you will see the potential this pertains!
