Description
For sale is a beautifully hand-made large jewelry armoire in your choice of oak or cherry hardwood. This lovely piece is made by the Amish of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania using the highest quality, natural rich-grained wood. Each piece shows its own unique grain in a natural beaty that goes deeper than the surface. These armoires are made of solid wood; solid hardwood resists marring and scratching, and can be repaired in the event of damage. Quality construction invites you to enjoy this armoire year after year, and will preserve it as an heirloom for the next generation. I want to stress that this armoire is made of solid wood, not some cheap substitute. The armoire measures 19" wide, 13 1/2" deep and 46 1/2" high. It includes mirror, necklace hooks and a total of 23 compartments inside lined in your choice of either hunter green or burgundy felt. The top two drawers have six compartments each, the rest are open, although any additional drawer can also be fitted with compartments for an additional $10. The six small drawers are lined, the lower two are finished but not lined with felt. There are four styles to choose from, with various stain and hardware combinations. The first picture is a traditional armoire in oak finished in provincial oak stain and fitted with brass hardware. The remainder are as follows: (2) traditional style in cherry, acres stain, brass hardware. (3) Shaker style in oak, harvest stain, wooden knobs. (4) Shaker style in cherry, autumnn wheat stain, windover hardware. (5) Mission style in oak, harvest stain, mission hardware. (6) Mission style in cherry, harvest stain, black mission hardware. (7) Primitive style in cherry, distressed black paint, black hardware. You can choose any combination of stains as shown in the last picture and hardware for any armoire. The price listed is for any armoire in oak, please add $50 to the final bid price for a cherry armoire, and $90 for the primitive armoire. You may choose to have your name(s) engraved with grapes or roses on the top, as shown, please add $60 to the total and allow an additional 2-3 weeks for delivery. We can make the entire armoire lockable for an additional $130. I accept paypal, money orders and cashier's checks. All of my auctions are without a reserve so the highest bidder at the close will win. The following are comments from recent buyers that describe their satisfaction with the armoires. "The pictures cannot explain how gorgeous the piece actually is, well worth the money." "Everything looks great and was very well packed. As others have mentioned, it looks nicer in person than online." "Ken, the piece is FANTASTIC...I love it and the stain goes GREAT. Packing was first rate. THANKS SO MUCH!" "The boxes just arrived...it is much more beautiful than I planned. I just cannot thank you enough. This is going to be a wonderful birthday for my wife. The value is tremendous. I would have paid much more for something this nice. The others are veneers or MDF and quite frankly junk. This is real hardwood." "The armoire was everything I had hoped it was and even more. I can't wait until my wife opens this Christmas morning." "Excellent craftmanship, a sight to behold!" "I couldn't be more pleased." "...absolutely breathtaking! I'm extremely pleased with the quality and workmanship and also the very careful packing. There is nothing even close to this quality in the stores. I'm so happy I found you!" "I am speechless, beautiful, tried to have one made here and cost was double." "Quality product as expected, very pleased, superb craftsmanship." "...beat my expectations" "...item quality better than expected" "We received the armoire yesterday and today, my wife of 44 years opened it and was totally speechless. Thanks so much..."
