This is a fabulous example of Art Deco produced in the figure eight. We date the ring circa 1920's or earlier. The two central diamonds featured are bezel set with a miligrain edge. The diamonds are early round brilliant hand cut stones and weigh an estimated combined weight of 2.30cts plus. The color grade is H-J with SI1-SI2 clarity.  As the stones are bezel set we did not remove to find exact weight. Rather we have a given estimate from the Professional Gem Lab with estimates. The large diamonds measure 6.6-6.9mm in diameter x 3.85-4.05mm in depth. There are thirty bead set top of the line white to white round, brilliant single cut accent stones ranging in size from 1.5mm-2.1mm for a total accent diamond weight of .90cts plus. The color grade on the thirty diamonds are F-I with a VS2-I1 clarity with the majority of the stones in the SI category. The ring is further embellished with four natural brilliant blue genuine sapphires. The sapphires are French cut and channel set. The ring measures 3/4" in diameter with a projection of 1/4" and weighs 4.35 grams platinum. The ring is a finger size 5 but could be custom sized by our in house jeweler for a cost fee. Included with the ring is a cost replacement and Gem Lab appraisal which estimates to reproduce this piece would be in the range of $14,000. I dont think any jeweler could replace or for that fact reproduce for that price currently.
