It weighs 4 grams with a beautiful center stone in purple color which measures about 1/4 inch wide Iodite stone. I thought it was an amethyst but my jewelry friend has tested it as Iodite. Pin measures 2 inches wide by 1.25 inches tall. The stamping on the back side on an oval tag is "AREGEL 10K". Condition is excellent like when it was brand new. It IS possible this pin was kept in a jewelry box for all these years. Please note the photo is much enlarged to show all the details and the actual pin front is shiny and does not have the scratchy look. Pin and hinge are all nice and straight.
