Description
These cute llama beads were handmade by Peruvian crafts people. Molds were used to shape the clay, which was fired, painted and glazed, then fired again for a true ceramic hardness. The llamas wear alforja saddle bags, typical of the Andes, one side decorated with a moon and the other the sun. This lot includes ten each of five different colors--wine red, cobalt blue, aqua blue, green and brown. The beads are about 22 mm tall, 8 mm across the front, 22 mm front to back. The holes are about 2 mm in diameter. They run vertically, from the back to the belly.See our other eBay listings for hundreds of other Peruvian beads and crafts.
