It measures approximately 3 x 2 1/2 inches across, and it is totally a mechanical watch. The movement is swiss or french, circa 1860, with a quarter repetition on the two animated gongs above the dials, when the cherubs strike the bells. It is engaged by the large plunger on the crown. The back of the watch is engraved. You set the watch through the front glass with a key over the centerpost, and moving the hands. It winds through the back of the watch with a small watch key. The dial itself is porcelain with black roman numerals 1-11 and a red roman numeral 12. the dial does have a slight hairline in it. It is running, and it repeats properly. When you open the back lid of the watch, there is an erotic scene with a Madam and her Patron. This erotic animated scene functions properly when the repetition is engaged. It is a circa 1890 repeater watch with what appears to be a later case. It is selling with NO Reserve, and it has shipping charges of $15 within the Continental USA.
